Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actor who was born on the 31st of January 1974. She is best known as Bo on the Showcase television show Lost Girl. Silk was produced in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Silk is the daughter of Peter who is a professor, and Ilkay Silk, a prominent performer, actress, and playwright and director of drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's early impressions were of practice sessions for her children as well as watching her mother do the work. Silk made several commercials while she was still a kid. Silk was a graduate of St. Thomas University with an Associate of Arts degree in 1997. The early stage work she did included at least two productions with Theatre St. Thomas: Seven Menus and The Kitchen. Silk moved from Toronto in November 1999 to Los Angeles California to pursue her career as an actor. Seth Cooperman met Silk at the Los Angeles Actors Workshop in 2007. The couple began their engagement in 2009 and were married in a civil ceremony that took place in December. On April 10 2011 they renew their vows during an Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk gave birth to a son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, her second baby was born on May 13, 2016. Silk has a number of role on television, including Cassidy Holland from Being Erica. Silk was nominated for a Gemini Award in 2009 to play this character. In 2009, she was cast in the role of principal character Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian TV show Lost Girl. Silk was pregnant during filming the season three finale. The following day, on January 6, 2013, she announced this for viewers to watch the Showcase's Season Three Pre-Show Special. Silk posted on Twitter on June 20th that she is ready to resume work. On June 4, 2013, Showcase and Prodigy Pictures officially declared the start of Fourth season's production. CNN's Cable News Network named her role as Bo and Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples as one of their most-loved TV Couples. E! Magazine announced that they were the best TV Couple in 2013. Entertainment Television. Silk is one of the most watched shows across social networks.
